The two songs on this 7" accurately display Spirit World's fierce in your face raw but tight punkish rock and roll style.

The title track "Soul...Sold It" totally captures the listeners attention with it's catchy grooves and tongue in cheek lyrics - "it's only rock n roll if it is out of control" - "we can't die young because we have records to sell" which are screamed with complete passion.

The B-side "Cherry" delivers where the vast majority of B-sides on most singles fail. "Cherry" showcases a darker/experimental side of Spirit World.
